said by a former cowrker of mine at the Eugene clinic in the middle of a combined staff metting, right after she reached over and smacked me:
Dammit Gail, I have been sitting next to you for an hour and I didn't recognise it was you.
said by a patient who was checking out when she was asked who the person was that helped her that day:
I don't know her name, but she was really tall, and really skinny
Makes a girl feel good. Especially since my weight loss had stalled over the holidays and I had stayed at 184 - 186 for almost two months. There was lots of bad eating habits going on then, plus the whole quitting smoking thing. But this week I was down to 181, so maybe my weight loss is picking up again. Hey, at this point i am only 16 pounds away from my goal weight. Hear that Abigail? At one year out, I am 16 pounds away from my goal weight. Your turn!
