GC Baby. JUMP!!!
OMG GC was soooo good! totally rockied my sockies. But befoe i say anything else... WHERE THE FUCK WAS CHRIS!!!! WE WANT CHRIS!!!!
Anyways, After spending WAY too long on the stupid train and then a bus, we got there at about 1.30-3 ish, and I rang Neety, and Tamara came and got us and we were like right at the start of the line.. like in the first 10, it was so great. Thank you guys so much for saving us a spot! Clicky the cut for the rest, so this doesnt totally whore out everyones friend pages :p
So anyways we spent like 4 hours hanging out there, and I went to get some water then went back in and stuff. It was great, so many GC fans. But I didn't get to meet all my naptown girls, which kinda sucked :( but I met some!
Anyways, They finally opened the cloakroom like 15 mins before we went in, instead of at 5:30 like they said they would, but then we couldn't get to it, cos then we'd lose our plack in the line, so we had to wait till we went in and run to get rid of them while tho others saved us a place right at the front. It was fucking awsome, there were only 2 people between me and tha barrier, but then this bitch was like elbowing me and shoved in fron so there were 3 *scowls* but it was still all good. Cherie like passed out in the mosh though, and had to get lifted out by the security guys, who were like draging out anyone who couldnt cope with it, so I was totally seperated from everyone, but I was still right at the front by the time GC came out, and omg it was like the best moment in my entire life! and Benji looked right at me... fuck it was so great.
I ended up getting shoved back even more (it was totally worse in there then it was at blink) it was so bad, i'd like put my arms in the airand I was so squished in that I couldn't even get them back down. I only had one really bad moment though, when the girl next to me and I both fell over and we were like lying on the grounf screaming cos people were like stepping on us going "help us up help us up" cos we coudnt get up. And I got groped by like 5 guys. It was so icky. but we were packed in so much I couldn't move away from them... so bad lol. I keped like grabing guys shoulders and jumping too, like I did at blink, only this time none of them cared lol. And Benji told like the lamest jokes ever, but we still laughed. cos you know, it was BENJI!!! and Joel said "Americans have NOTHING on you guys" and everyone ws like FUCK YEA BITCH! and they said Australia was their new home, and that benji was looking for a roommate, and all the girls(including me) just screamed, and then they said something about Benji being into guys or something? I couldn't hear it cos people were screaming lol. But then all the guys around me (who muct ahve been bi. and there was one that was toally gay, so cute) were like hell yeah and screaming and stuff. it was grand. and then they said how they like girls going to their shows, cos then guys go to get all close and sweaty with the girls, and they guys were like damn straight. and I was like ewww icky sweaty bare back getting mushed against my face lol. and then It was like all over.... it totally seeemed like they'd only been playing like 10 mins, but i;d been the whole ste *sigh*
Anyways they played (from memory and not in order) Festivle Song, Motivate me, Predictable, The Anthem, Lifestyles of the rich and famous, Ghost of you, I just wanna live, The World is Black, Hold On (Which I almost started crying during, cos at the start Joel was saing how he knew that some of us couldnt be there, cos things just got to much but how we should always just hold on and how it was all for us and that we were his famil and all...)I THINK that's all of them (If I got it wrong can someone comment and tell me)
The opening acts were good too, I really liked the Bleeders, and day of contempt ROCKED. Plus their drummer was soooo yummy. I was like *drool* mmmm band guys....
Anyways, after it was over I realised that I was all by myself, so I went over to the cloak room, and found neety and that, so I lined up with them (the line was soooo long by this point)So I got them to mind my place while I got a bottle of water and checked the merch lines, they were still really long, so I decided to get merch after id gotten my bag back, which I was worried about, cos somehow my wrist tap for it, AND my cuff, which does up with a buckel for fucks sake had come of in the pitt. but then the security gaurds wouldn't let me in damn them.
And omg when we came out these 2 guys got into a full on fight. It was pretty scary actually, cos they were like moving around, and we were right near them so i was scared we'd get caught up in it, but we didnt so it was all good.
omg Carmen's dad is the biggest freak ever, by the way. for starters as if we couldnt have gone by ourselves, but then he got all pissed at me cos the cloakroom thing made us miss the train. wtf, it was like 11:30 when he said that, and we only got out at 11. We would have been cutting it fine anyways. But he got sooo pissed off cos we couldnt find a bus and everything and Carmen started crying, and he stupid little bother went all psycho at ME and I started screaming at him at the train station (cos their dad was in a different taxi to us)telling him that he was fucking lucky I was nice enough to let carmen invite him. I mean this was MY night. GC is MY band, I'M the one that's loved them for 3 years, not HIM god it made me so fucking mad. little brat. It all ended out good in the end though.
and omg the signing made up for EVERYTHING. like we were leaving and I saw paul signing things and I was like omg! paul! there! I was so shocked... like I couldn't believe it was real you know? But he signed my ticket, i'll post it when i get it on the computer. And then I saw billy too, and I was like "please sign my ticket before I miss my train" and all the other people there were so nice, cos billy didnt hera me and they were all like "Billy, billy that girl needs you to sign it or she'll miss her train", and they passed it though for me and then back. I almost cried again then... It was just so... I dont know but it was good whatever it was. it was so bad though, cos when I saw then i'd like planned what I was gonna say, but then I did and I couldnt think of anything coherent... I was just stunned, I seriously couldn't believe it was real. But some guy told paul they played well and it was a good show and he was like "thanks, I thought so too" and it was heaps funny. I guess you had to be there.
The only thing that would have made it better is if benji signed my ticket too, but he's like already gone by the time I got there i'm like the most i've ever been hyped up lol. It was serously the best night of my life. I can NEVER explain what GC mean to me, and how much they've made me the person I am, but because of that I know I'll been a fan for life. Represent.
