What I’m going to do now is not tell you about myself. I’m not going to tell you about my history and I’m not going to tell you about my personality and interests. Instead, I’m going to crack my knuckles and wing it. >:D
If a space monkey from the future appeared to me a year ago and gestured to me that I would register an account at an internet blogspot in a year’s time, I’d simply take a picture of him with my cell and continue laughing. But in the last year, or rather the last month, I’ve become terribly bored with regards to the internet. Forums, in particular, which are where I spend most of my time when I sit down in our spectacularly brown leather wingback of our study, have become dull and repetitive according to moi.
I just lost my interest, really. Even in roleplays. That’s why I gave in and came here on a friend of mine’s request. One might argue however, that I am lazy, to which I wouldn’t retort, because that is probably also true. Much to my mum’s delight, though, who thinks the internet is filled with perverts and pornography, which for the most part is true. I remember a few years ago when she was so convinced that “internet = badness” that I had to negotiate with her for my own email address. A fortnight of doing dishes and making a million billion cups of coffee later, I hit Hotmail.
God only knows what she’d do if she found out I have MSN.
Gah. I’ve already strayed off topic. I can predict I’m not going to be terribly good at this. I’m not even sure if I’m doing it right, or what half the links do. I just hope this doesn’t turn into another failed hobby of mine, like keeping a diary which I keep forgetting to update. Or having miniature plants on my desk that keep dying because I become lazy and stop watering them. Which is pathetic, I know. A friend of mine walked into my room the other day and couldn’t help noticing the dead cacti next to my computer screen, and remarked that I’m terrible at hobbies. I think my failed attempts at keeping a fish tank more than substantiates this as well. ,_,
So, with clenched thumbs I shall end this introduction, hoping that Live Journal will not become a chore for me to write to. Even if I don’t catch the eyes of any readers..
