If this happened to me, I would not even THINK of returning the book!
I am selfish, I will read it ahead of everyone else. But I'm not mean; I'll keep it to myself. I suppose that makes me selfish again. whatever. :)

I am not totally selfish, I will lend it to friends (like babystuff) whom I know will appreciate reading the book, too.
