 the Santo Misericordia. The people in the foreground are probably relatives or people who have been with the family for a long time. I think we have the most fragrant caro (taken from the word carosa, which holds the santo) of the whole lot because of the fresh sampaguita that are used to dress the caro.


 The San Guillermo church in Bacolor. It was much bigger when I was a child, not because I was smaller but because the rest of the church is buried under lahar. The main door used to be a window.

I took the first photo. B took the second.

They were taken in Bacolor where we join the Holy Week procession every year.
