Not always that, though that can be an option as well.

The mind is a powerful thing. Sometimes if one believes that they have died strongly enough, the body actually will submit to a death undelivered.

On the other hand, showing how others fell so easily and reminding us of our own mortality should 'keep us in line' as it were.

There's the old saying: I have met the enemy and he is I.

It comes from the belief that you see an enemy as the worst of what you yourself are capable of.

However; having been dragged from different environments and experiences, only a fool would not see that we all do not react the same exact way. Therefore this little game of theirs could have been nothing more then their way of forcing us onto their page of the game.

Rest assured, I know what its like to be the worst of the worse. I have not forgotten. But to see all of the people I care about dying and then to feel as if I've died myself is an experience I will never forget. And it will not change, whether the wall was down and I could walk out of here now, or whether I have lost these damnable cuffs. I will not waver from my goal.

These Entropi should think they haven't fooled all of us.
