No, I'm just kidding. I hate *N Stink because they suck, not because they're popular.
But seriously, I don't understand people who like a band only until they "go mainstream". I mean, I can understand if the band started making really really shitty music after they got signed to a major label or something, but most people that are like that seem to hate bands because of their popularity, not their music. Which doesn't make sense.
What got me thinking about this, you ask? This one group on
TheFaceBook called "The Rock/punk/metal/underground Music Source"...the group description made me laugh:
The Groups is mostly for people that have the names of bands and artists that do NOT, and I cannot emphasize that enough, come out on MTV or KROQ or any mainstream radio on Southern California. I have a few names of bands and artists if you have feel free to email me and I'll be glad to add them. I haven't listened to KROQ in about a year, so if they now play some band that i have in here, or if MTV plays them let me know, except for the ones that got banned, I will not change those. I Do NOT like mainstream music. This is music in English and Spanish, if anyone has any other ones that they'd like to add let me know. I'm open to suggestions... Peace I'm Gone...CIAO
Stupid people.
Speaking of stupid people...
I found myself wishing I still had an umbrella while I was sloshing through puddle after puddle on my way back from class, which just happens to be across campus. By the time I got back, I was soaking wet, sneezing and sniffling, and tired. Note to self: Don't lend things to someone who has a habit of returning your stuff broken...or not at all. Especially if said person is only pretending to be your friend and ends up hating you out of nowhere.
