*blinks* You know, that actually didn't occur to me (which tells a lot about what I deem situationally acceptable vs downright wrong) but now that you mention it, I guess I did. Damn. HOLY SHIT THAT WAS AWESOME. But I don't get it. How is this K-pop? Is it a new in-thing now to train K-pop idols in the arts of literally kicking ass in case their pop careers don't take off? Is SM now branching to other enterprises and hiring a pool of assassins posing as k-pop artists? PLEASE EXPLAIN.

Hahaha, SM has apparently permanently branched out. They just debuted their newest boyband called EXO, and the concept behind it is pretty complex. Basically they have 12 members (8 Koreans, 4 Chinese) of whom are divided into two subgroups, both of which essentially perform/debuted in China and Korea simultaneously. (EXO-M and EXO-K).

That badass little kickass machine is the youngest on EXO-M and has had 11 years of WuShu training. :Db I'm admittedly interested in this new marketing extravaganza because of the Chinese subgroup (lol, ethnicity bias, you're still there?) But the friend who introduced them to me started off with the MAMA teaser, and when I was going "Wait, wtf is this--oh, nice moves, Wushu kid," she linked me to this teaser and... now I'm going to fail this semester. orz

They just officially debuted yesterday, SMtown's YT page has some fantastic MVs, and I am doomed because Tumblr is exploding with the hilarious macros.
