First post~!

It's been very busy since I've moved to Grand Cross! With all the excitement and chaos that comes with a new business and a new city, I've completely forgotten to post here despite how long I've been in business now. Oops. Time to remedy that!

My little Anemone is doing splendidly, thanks for asking! It seems every day I get more customers than the one before. Already I have a nice amount of customers and am doing well. It's enough to keep me busy, if not engaged in my work. I don't mind working solo; there's so much to do that I don't get lonely. There's repairs to do, completely new clothes to make, fabric to order, things to organize, not to mention the house-keeping of my adorable apartment. Thank goodness nobody goes up there except me! One of these days I might just close the shop and tackle my continually-growing To-Do list, but I'll save that for a rainy day. Or I'll just keep cutting that list down item by item, and it'll all get done eventually. I should pick a major goal for each week and try and get that done...that could work. I'll look into that!

Don't get me wrong, now: I'm glad that construction in the Square went so smoothly and that it's done (except for the statue - I do hope King Peter picks something a bit more tasteful than the eyesore we had, although the little lion cub in it was adorable), but thank goodness the celebration is over! It felt like it went on forever. I don't mind partying at all, of course, but I did get a little tired of the noise. It's hard to sleep at night when it's too hot to keep the windows closed, but too loud to keep them open. Thankfully I had a wonderful project to work on last week, so I was able to work on that when I couldn't sleep. ♥ A very nice young man came in with some severely injured jackets that he asked me if I could repair. I think I did a splendid job on them, and came out with a new friend out of it! What better payment could there be? I love this city!
