Is it sad that housework is my break from studying? A test drive and other news
I have a load of clothes going in the washer right now and I need to do dishes yet. Than I get to go back to studying for my finals on Wednesday. Oh boy...on the plus side I went and did chapters one-four on-line test quizzes (2 quizzes per chapter) for my chem class and so far I have managed to pass almost all of them with at least a C or higher, I messed up on one and got a D, but overall not too bad. I'm going to do chapters, five, six and eleven either tonight or tomorrow night and than cram like a mother fucker for my tests on Wednesday than I'm going to beat myself about the head afterward and maybe drink a bit Wednesday night.
Thursday I get to go out with Lizzy and hopeful Manda out to this new place called Five Guys Burger and Fries. Oh boy fatty food to celebrate the end of term and hopefully the end of my college career. Friday people are coming over for board games and Katie is coming over and maybe we'll watch movies and what not downstairs. Saturday is Jason's company x-mas party that is pirate themed and has an open bar for the first hour or so. Oh happy B-day Jesus I know this how you want us to celebrate your birth with booze and getting stuff!!!!
So in other news I was told this by my boss about me being hired full time. Starting January 1st I will be a full time worker, than after six months they are going to see what their needs are based on the new system and if I'm not needed I get to go back to being part time. I really don't know why they are doing it like this, we're not in a hiring freeze anymore, other depts hire full time people and we lost like over ten people in six months and are struggling to catch up all the time. Not sure if this means I go back to a three day a week thing or I work five days a week from like 8 to 2 when my six months is up either way I'm sort of getting the short end of the stick it feels like. Thank god I don't want this for a career and I get to go bitch to HR about how me and ten other people are giving AR an interest free loan and we're sick of it, we wants our money damn it. Other depts with more people got their reviews and raises why haven't we?
Got the tickets booked for the Netherlands!!! Happy days!!!! I'm spending ten days in Europe and taking two days off when I get back so I have time to recover from jet lag and what not. Need to start looking into Cat kennels so kitty is cared for while I'm gone.
