GO AMANDA WEIR
Okay, I watched the swimming finals last night. And all I can say is AMANDA WAS CHEATED OUT OF A GOLD BECAUSE THE ANCHOR ON THAT RELAY STUNK!!!! I mean come on, Amanda gave them a lead and she was the 3rd spot on the team. If she had been anchor then maybe Amercia would have won the 4x100 Women's Free Relay. But she got a silver so YAY FOR AMANDA!! And she will be at UGA this year, so for all of you at UGA be proud. And she was a BHS graduate so YAY. I went on Friday to get a picture done next to the good luck sign for her. It was very exciting. Although the swimming wasn't shown until nearly midnight, but that's okay. And her prelim swim was awesome... it was the best of the relay team. And the relay team was changed before the finals but they kept Amanda on it. And Michael Phelps won 1st place in the 400 IM... and some other American won 2nd. So we took the top two spots. But Australia did the exact same thing in the 400 free with Ian Thrope (Aussie male swimmer hero) taking the gold. And China won both the male and female synchronized diving... which makes me mad because the US men did the same dive with the same mistakes as the Chinese but their score was at least 1 point lower. Prejudice? I think so. But it's okay because Amanda won a medal in her first Olympics. So now I shall rest because I just finished going through my closet to sort my clothes before school. And it all fits on the 2 top racks (one on the left and one on the right) which took a lot of sorting and time. LUNCH TIME FOR ME!!
