I'm sort of torn, I love what you did with the light on Aziraphale's hair and the edges of his cheek and jaw in the final coloured version, but I also love the line detailing and pencilwork of your final sketch version. ^.^

Aziraphale's glowing cone of light flaming sword turned out pretty awesome too. XD

I agree wholeheartedly about being torn. The sketch turned out really well, but I also had these ideas about color and lighting that wouldn't go away. Pencil is really expressive, but colors are sooo much fun...

Thanks for the feedback! ::gives you candy and cookies::

Oh wow, wow, ARTGASM.

I don't mind telling you we mods had many a squee over that sword. Aziraphallic!

I really like the colored version, for the contrast of the warmth of the light on Crowley's face, and the coolness of the light on Aziraphale's, I think that's a really intense contrast.

I also have a lot of love for that little sketch with Crowley kneeling and holding onto Aziraphale's wrist, it's really sexy. Aziraphale looks a little gentler, but still badass. "Let go of my sword-arm, my dear, I'll have to do some smiting soon."

Yay! The lighting works!!! Mission accomplished. Thank you so much!

It's funny that you mention the kneeling one, because that was my original submission, and then I changed my mind because I was worried it was too gen.

"Let go of my sword-arm, my dear, I'll have to do some smiting soon." Yeah, that sounds about right. Crowley is doing his best to distract him from the fighting however... what with the lack of clothes and all...

Thank you!!! ::hugs forever:: I'm not sure what I was thinking with Az's expression, maybe that he didn't want to get caught having private time with his demon, and of course Crowley loves an audience for those "really weird things." The thing twisted up in Az's fingers is supposed to be the leather strip you would use to tie a scabbard onto your belt(though honestly I just thought his hand looked really bare without something there...)

I'm glad you like the wings! Is it weird that I was thinking that you would like it when I was putting in Az's hair highlights? You have become my target audience. :)

I'm doing okay. We're going to be living in the hotel for the next month, so most of the things I've been uploading are old stuff off my hard drive that I never got around to coloring. I want to draw Az smashing in Asmodeus' skull sooo bad, but it's going to have to wait for now. Sooooo excited about the music...

Thank you again!!!

Interesting... I will have to ponder this. I've been drawing him with a heart shaped face and a sharp, nasty chin so I guess Cillian Murphy still works. The eyes, OMG yes. Huge and long lashed and yet... you still want to punch him in one. I'm definitely liking this idea

Dude, how the hell did I miss this?! OH WOOOOOOW. Aziraphale's hair has caught my eye and won't let go. It's the lighting, definitely, that give him such an otherworldly glow. And did you make Aziraphale's feathers like a hawk's? Because that's totally what it looks like and that's REALLY HOT.

Oh you definitely didn't miss this on the exchange. I remember quite clearly that you said you wanted to lick Azi's hand (I was in the Grad student lounge and I think turned bright red out of sheer joy at your comment). However I have made a lot of changes here, so thank you for commenting again!

Good eye! I did look at lots of raptor wings, eagles and hawks mostly, when I was working on Aziraphale's wings and armor (I think cherubs are supposed to have an eagle head as one of the four? Idk, I over think these things...) I'm glad you like them!

I didn't get time to comment when this piece went on the GO holiday Exchange in black and white, but I am even happier with the dimension color has given it ( ... )

I've been waiting to reply to you because I wanted to be coherent, but every re-read of this right here...

"If you are learning Photoshop just from tutorials and YouTube, I think you'd be downright intimidating if you had classes! You demonstrate real flair."

makes me forget how to respond like a mature adult. Thank you so much!!!
