Reflexive Reverence

Then every lamp in the room went out.

Aziraphale yelped in alarm and jumped to his feet, standing in a plate of what felt like the remains of devilled oysters. Immediately a shaft of electric blue light fell down from the ceiling and illuminated him in a brilliant ethereal spotlight.

“Good God!” he exclaimed in shock, raising an arm to shield himself from that blinding brightness.

“Not quite,” said a disembodied voice from above.

A Diamond Sky Above Titanic By: Seablue-eyes (link magic)

Oh... hi everybody, long time no see. :-D

Sorry it's been so long since I posted last, the end of my semester involved a massive train wreck of papers, giant teaching modules, and downpours of fish, so I'm still wading through the wreckage. I just wanted to pop in with the illustration from Chapter 8 of my collaboration with Seablue_eyes as evidence of my continued existence. Poor Aziraphale, the Metatron really seems like the worst kind of boss, dropping in when you least expect it. Though I have to say he's pretty lucky that Heaven caught him with his pants on considering what was going on in this room just a few hours before this scene takes place. O_O

Thank you so much to anyone who is still reading and enjoying the art, we really, truly appreciate your support. Happy Holidays everyone!

Side note: After Christmas I will be discarding my GIMP for Photoshop! *rejoicing* I have the best Hubs-to-be ever!

Aziraphale belongs to the Dynamic Duo (and Crowley)
"A Diamond Sky Above Titanic" belongs to the fabulous Seablue-eyes
