Ho Hum!
I haven't been on here in ages. I have started my new job (november) and have only just got it under my wind. Yes, it took me 2 months to calm the raging beast, flaring uncontrollably aross my work desk. For those that don't know what I do, don't worry it isn't intersting. Just extremely busy.
I have had a few complaints from other departments and people saying I am rude. Although I know it is just the way they view my conversation, I have had to sugar coat the way I say things to people. Instead of just saying NO!.
I have a month and a bit left of probation, so hopefully if I remain nice and have the work load under control I should retain the job.
If only to pay off my bank loan and save up to go to thailand later in the year (Oh! AND get paid for a 3 week holiday).
I am still miserably single. I can't find anyone that piques my interest for more than a couple of weeks. I also still have the problem that any guy I talk to when out thinks he is in with a chance. But hey, if I haven't answered your phone call 3 times in a row and don't call you back then I ain't interested. I am just going to toughen up and explain that if I give them my number it is for a friends only contact.
That is a very hard thing to do.
Apart from that my birthday was cool, christmas was warm and new year was hot.
Right now I am still catching up with friends. I didn't realise I had so many :)
Last weekend was my cousins birthday (same age) and I was surprised I still had it in me to rock all night.
It started off at 1pm on saturday at the bavarian bier bar on manly wharf ( I remember having 8 vodka and oranges), then on to the wharf bar at time unknown (1 champagne cocktail, 2 smirnoff blacks and 3 vodka oranges, i think!) then when that closed around 12am we went to ceruti's. This is one of four night clubs in manly and I admit I don't mind it. I remember one cousin buying me another 4 vodka oranges and I drank other people's drinks which I normally don't do :( I also danced way too seductively with the birthday girl (my cousin) in front of another cousin who couldn't stop laughing at us.
That closed at about 4.30am and then we went to a guy's house where I watched everyone but me snort coke and fall asleep leaving me to polish off another 3 barcardi and passionfruit drinks.
My friends that is not the end.
I left that house in manly at 6.30am sunday walked around the corner and bumped into a mexican and a peruvian (both male) who after my persuasion decided to walk with me the curl curl (where they lived) and then I would walk onto dee why. I arrived home at 9.30am sunday morning.
p.s I think someone may have put coke into one of their drinks that I started drinking because I was wide awake on sunday - ALL day.
p.p.s This lively weekend marks the first proper weekend outing where I didn't have a cigarette. I haven't smoked since NYE, however I hadn't been out to a pub or club until last weekend. It was relatively easy although I stayed in the non-smoking area as much as possible.
