The Magicians

Tonight marks the official debut of The Magicians, a new series is based on the book trilogy by Lev Grossman. I do own the trilogy but have held off on reading it until after watching the full first season of the series. I already viewed the premiere episode and was completely hooked within the first five minutes. Yes it looks like a cross between Harry Potter, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and basically every CW show…but it seems to be quite a good mix at that. Hopefully the rest of the season will play out as well as episode one….

Just an observation but Jason Ralph in this show reminds me so much of Charlie Cox when he was in Stardust...
