From the moment it was announced, I had zero interest in watching the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. And then this happened….

• Walt Disney Pictures’ upcoming live-action take on ‘Beauty and the Beast’ has announced its Gaston! Variety reports that Luke Evans will play the testosterone-driven braggart opposite Emma Watson’s Belle.

Oh, and then this….

• The Hollywood Reporter reports that actor Dan Stevens of ‘Downton Abbey’ fame will take on the role of the Beast in Bill Condon's upcoming live-action adaption of ‘Beauty and the Beast’.

Well that’s pretty much all I need to know…I’m in.
