Still trying to wrap my head around that crazy two hour season finale for Sleepy Hollow...
- Irving is arrested after confessing to murders he hasn't committed
- Zombie Andy is trapped in (Zombie) George Washington's tomb
- Jenny is in a car crash lying injured, possibly dead, on a deserted roadway
- Abbie is stuck in Purgatory in a creepy dollhouse with the young version of herself and her sister
- Katrina was finally released from Purgatory only to be kidnapped by the Headless Horseman (Death - the First Horseman of the Apocalypse)
- Ichabod is 6 feet under, buried alive by Henry Parish who, in turn, turns out to be the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse (War) and, at the same time, is also Ichabod and Katrina's long-lost son (don't ask...)
Brilliant...Amazing - I totally suspected Abbie would wind up going to Purgatory in a one-for-one exchange for Katrina so that wasn't too much of a shocker. I heard rumours that Henry was going to turn out to be evil but I never suspected the turn of events that occurred. Great jaw dropping moments all round. And I also totally called the historical re-enactment group. It had to be done at some point. At least Ichabod knows where to buy clothes now. Shame about Victor Garber though - I wish he had more scenes.
I actually posted this summary 'cause after a 7 month or so hiatus I'm certain I won't have a clue what is happening next season when the show resumes. (then again, i'll probably watch the blu rays at least 3x between now and then...LOL)
