I knew the Giants would win the Superbowl. Not that I care...I just knew it because the Patriots THOUGHT they would win it. Too presumptuous of them if you ask me. KARMA KARMA KARMA. And since when did Tom Petty become starworthy enough to perform the halftime show?? Who are they kidding???

I spent the majority of the day reading The Machiavelli Covenant, or, as
niviene refers to it..'that Machiavelli witch book'. It is very well written and quite difficult to put down. The novel is just a few pages shy of 700 and I am over halfway through now. DANG. I was hoping I could make it last until next weekend but at this rate I doubt it.

Watched Pan's Labyrinth in HD. That movie is a complete visual treat. I've watched it before but in HD it is just breathtaking. The little girl in that movie is absolutely adorable. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it) I had to turn it off to watch the premiere of Nip/Tuck. Sean & Christian on Hearts & Scalpels. ROFLMAO. This season has so much potential now that they have moved their practice to Los Angeles. The only drawback is all these celebrity cameos. Although it didn't interfere with the first episode per se, I fear the show may focus a little too much on the 'celebrities' and forget about Sean & Christian. Is it just me or have they really become an 'old married couple'...and oh the slash!!! ??? Anyhow, good to see it will be regularly scheduled on Friday nights at 10 PM...following Moonlight. Can it get any better than that?

Across the Universe is released on DVD these week (along with Elizabeth: The Golden Age and The Jane Austen Book Club) so I guess a visit to Rogers is in order.

Back to work tomorrow...:-(
