Cheryl played an evil but brilliant joke at work today. In forwarding my faxes via email, she sends an email with the info line “Troy is released”. So I am jumping up and down with excitement thinking for some bizarre reason that the Warner fools move up the release date of the DVD. I open the email and it is a transfer for a player named Troy along with his release from his former team *wahhhh* The scary thing is I actually do get excited when I have to work on transfers for players transferring to/from Troy, Paris, Sparta or Athens. How completely fangirl can I get??
Amazing Race yesterday was ridiculously boring as expected. Much to my chagrin, it was a non-elimination round, otherwise Colin & Christie *twitches* would have been eliminated. Have come to conclusion that, for the sake of humankind, all remaining couples should not be allowed to breed.
Unfortunately I will likely not be attending any other films at the Film Festival. No Libertine *laments* I think the best of the Fest was this past weekend and I can’t complain because I enjoyed my weekend immensely. Will perhaps watch a few more press conferences throughout the week and plan for next year. Hopefully the Fest won’t coincide with work meetings.
I live in such a strange city. Right now roaming our city are a plethora of the who’s who of Hollywood along with the victorious Canadian team from the World Cup Hockey Challenge. I swear if the backup defenseman for Team Canada walked into a room with Sean Penn or Kevin Spacey, Torontonians would flock to the hockey player and not even notice the celeb. How wrong is that?!
Tonight is the final for Canadian Idol. Kalan obvious winner versus Teresa. Pinch me please to make sure I am awake in Jacob’s absence.
Gods willing I will actually
a) get home before 6 PM, and
b) do homework, and
c) faint over the fact that I have accomplished a) and b)
toronto,
television,
tiff,
work,
amazing race,
blu-rays,
troy,
