On IM with second_batgirl, regarding the fact that she is drinking and writing drunken drabbles:

second_batgirl: I AM ON MY FIFTH DRINK
Sara: Wooooo!
Sara: I COULD TOTALLY HAVE WINE, I FORGOT WE HAVE SOME!!!
second_batgirl: YOU SHOULD HAVE WINE AND DO DRUNKEN DRABBLES

So, in the spirit of being silly and impressionable and over-ambitious, PROMPT ME.

Roy walked into the kitchen, a bewildered look on his face. "Dick?"

"Yeah? Hey, is the pasta supposed to look like this?" Dick asked, poking at the giant clump of spaghetti in the pot of boiling water.

Roy grimaced at the pot and shook his head. "No. And Tim's here."

Dick looked up, surprised. "Tim? Should I put on some more spaghetti?"

"No," Roy said, looking confused. "He's not here to see you."

"What? Why is he here?"

Roy reached past him and grabbed the pot of spaghetti sauce, yanking it off the heat as it started boiling over. "He's picking up Cissie."

"Oh." Dick peered into the pot, wrinkling his nose. "That doesn't look like yours. Pick her up for what? Why didn't Cassie pick her up?"

"It doesn't look like mine because it's solid--how did you do this?" Roy asked, poking at the sauce with a wooden spoon. "I think they're going out."

"I don't know, I just boiled it. Out where?"

Roy gave him an incredulous look. "Out. As in Tim used the front door and Cissie was wearing a dress. Fair warning--if your brother breaks my sister's heart, I'll have to kick his ass."

Dick blinked at him. "Wait, what?"

"You heard me."

He frowned. "Since when are they dating? Why didn't they tell us?"

"They probably didn't want us to make a big deal about it, or embarrass them," Roy said and reached for the phone. "Pizza or Chinese?"

Dick looked blankly at him, and then glanced at the pot of congealed spaghetti and sighed. "Pizza. Can we embarrass them when they come back?"

Roy rolled his eyes. "Are you kidding me? My little sister is out on her first date since she came to live with me. I plan on sitting in the living room fletching arrows in a threatening manner all night."

Oh, spaghetti! It's so obvious Alfred does EVERYTHING for the bats. I love how oblivious he is, too. And Roy! Threateningly fletching arrows! BWAH!
