1. Who are you?
I am Melissa, and Melissa is me. I find it impossible to summarize myself in short paragraphs. I am the sum of my actions and life experiences.

2. What are the 3 most important things everyone should know about you?
I have epilepsy, and am not as healthy or strong as I may seem. I cannot stand ignorant people; they drive me up the wall. I am very emotional, it can’t be helped.

3. When you aren't filling out 5,000 question surveys like this one what are you doing?
Looking for work, cross stitching, reading, writing, watching anime, visiting the beach…anything and everything.

4. List your classes in school from the ones you like the most to the ones you like the least (or if you are out of school, think of the classes you did like and didn't like at the time).
All my MA classes, Journalism, English, Math, History.

5. What is your biggest goal for this year?
To get a job and be able to support myself.

6. Where do you want to be in 5 years?
Working in a hospital as an EEG Technician.

7. What stage of life are you in right now?

8. Are you more child-like or childish?
I don’t really understand the difference, but child-like sounds most accurate? Maybe?

9. What is the last thing you said out loud?
“Good night, I love you.”

10. What song comes closest to how you feel about your life right now?
“It’s My Life”

11. Have you ever taken martial arts classes?
Nope. I don’t have the stamina for it.

12. Does your life tend to get better or worse or does it just stay the same?
At the moment it’s getting better.

13. Does time really heal all wounds?
Yes, it does.

14. How do you handle a rainy day?
Very well. I love rainy days and welcome them. Thunderstorms are even better.

15. Which is worse...losing your luggage or having to sort out tangled holiday lights?
Having to sort out tangled holiday lights. Losing your luggage can ruin a vacation; sorting out tangled holiday lights is just annoying, but at least you can watch TV while you do it.

16. How is your relationship with your parents?
Great. They support me in every way and we are very close.

Will you miss them when they are gone?
More than I can imagine.

17. Do you tend to be aware of what is going on around you?
Yes.

18. What is the truest thing that you know?
Trust only yourself.

19. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A crime scene technician XD

20. Have you ever been given a second chance?
Yes, on several different occasions.

21. Are you more of a giver or a taker?
Giver, I think.

22. Do you make your decisions with an open heart/mind?
Always.

23. What is the most physically painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Recovering from my surgery. The incision was on my neck and hurt whenever I did anything.

24. What is the most emotionally painful thing that has ever happened to you?
Being diagnosed with epilepsy.

25. Who have you hugged today?
A bunch of friends of my parents’, my parents themselves, and my grandparents.

26. Who has done something today to show they care about you?
A friend, and as always my parents.

27. Do you have a lot to learn?
Yes. Everyone does.

28. If you could learn how to do three things just by wishing and not by working what would they be?

I don’t think I remember any one specific thing more than the others; it all depends.

Communication, love, honesty, and trust.

B. Sorry, but there’s really not that many things I would die rather than do.

Is honesty a cause? If so, then that’s my answer.

35. Which decade do you feel the most special connection to and why?
Probably the 90’s. I wasn’t alive for enough of the 80’s to feel a connection there, although it holds a spot in my heart for being my birth decade.

36. What is your favorite oldie/classic rock song?
I don’t listen to much oldies/classic music, but the one that comes to mind is “Build Me up Buttercup”. We played it in marching band at football games.

37. What country do you live in and who is the leader of that country?
I live in the United States of America, and our leader is Obama.

If you could say any sentence to the current leader of your country what would it be?
“What the fuck?” (I literally said that yesterday when watching a news segment about Obama’s reelection campaign.)

38. What's your favorite TV channel to watch in the middle of the night?
The Discovery Channel.

39. What Disney villain are you the most like and why?
Maleficent, perhaps? She seems to be intelligent and stuff. XD

40. Have you ever been a girl scout/boy scout?
Yes, I was a girl scout for a while in grade school.

41. If you were traveling to another continent would you rather fly or take a boat?
I would rather fly. It’s much quicker.

42. Why is the sky blue during the day and black at night?
Because that’s the way it has always been. I’m sure it has something to do with the chemicals in the sun and the atmosphere, but I don’t remember enough from my science classes.

43. What does your name mean?
It means “honey bee”.

44. Would you rather explore the deeps of the ocean or outer space?
The deeps of the ocean.

Possibly V for Vendetta.

Books to read, my DS to play, a notebook and my puzzle books, and some pens.

My life has been saved a few times when I was in the hospital at 15. I’m sure I’ll save lives eventually, being in healthcare.

A place where there is no crime, everyone is honest, nobody has any health problems (I’d be out of a job, but I wouldn’t mind), and nobody is poor or starving.

I do not.

I have gone horseback riding in the ocean.

I can’t recall any joke that was so awesome that it stuck with me.

Hmm, probably cruises in general. They are REALLY awesomely fun. If you want a completely specific place, though, then I’ll go with Megacon 2011.

Natural.

70. Do you have any deep dark secrets or are you pretty much up front?
I have many deep dark secrets.

Socks. I really should throw them in the laundry.

72. If you were in the Land of Oz would you want to live there or go home?
I would want to go home. Oz seemed like a dangerous place, and as Dorothy said, there’s no place like home.

73. If you drive do you frequently speed?
No, not frequently.

74. What is the world's best song to dance to?
I don’t really dance, but I do like “Evacuate the Dancefloor”.

75. What song was on the last time you danced with someone?
The last time I danced with someone was at my senior prom in 2007. I couldn’t tell you what the last song was. I do remember that at one point the song “Low” was played, so we’ll go with that.

76. Do you prefer Disney or Warner Brothers?
Disney.

77. What is the first animal you would run to see if you went to the zoo?
Pandas.

78. Would you consider yourself to be romantic?
When I let myself be such, yes. I try to keep those tendencies to myself though.

79. If the earth stopped rotating would we all fly off?
I don’t think so.

80. What is the one thing that you love to do so much that you would make sacrifices to be able to do it?
Horseback riding.

81. If you (and everyone) had to lose one right or freedom, but you could pick which one everyone had to lose, what would you pick?
Probably the right to bear arms, because that causes a lot of problems in my opinion. But now I’m getting dangerously close to blogging about politics.

82. If you had to choose would you live on the equator or at the North Pole?
On the equator.

83. Would you rather give up listening to music or watching television?
Watching television.

84. What do you think makes someone a hero?
Doing something with no regard to your own needs, but to benefit someone else, and that you did not have to do.

None.

86. Name one thing that turns your stomach:
Spiders.

Hair ties at Walgreens.

88. Are you a coupon clipper?
Yes.

89. Get anything good in the mail recently?
No, but I’m expecting some good mail soon. Actually, as I’m not home at the moment, it may have been delivered already and I simply am not at home to retrieve it.

90. Which would you rather take as a gym class...dancing, sailing, karate, or bowling?
Dancing. I’ve always wished that I knew how to dance.

91. In Star Trek people 'beam' back and forth between different places. What this means is they stand in a little tube and their molecules are deconstructed and sent to another tube somewhere else where they are reassembled. Only problem is when the molecules are deconstructed the person is dead. When they are put back together it is only a clone that has all the dead person's memories. So...

Is the person who gets beamed the same person on both ends?
No. Although clones are copies, I don’t think they are the same people.

92. What insects are you afraid of?
Any and all insects.

93. If you could print any phrase on a T-shirt, what would it say?
“Love the life you live”

94. What's the most eccentric thing you have ever worn?
A flapper costume for Halloween one year long ago. :D

95. If you could pick one food that you could eat all you wanted but it would have no effect on how much you weigh, what food would it be?
Sopapias! (It’s a desert at this Mexican restaurant that I love. So yummy!)

96. What are your parents interested in?
Boating and other activities up at the lake.

97. Have you ever caught an insect and kept it as a pet?
Maybe when I was little, but not recently.

Have you ever caught and tamed a wild animal?
No.

98. What is more helpful to you, wishes or plans?
Plans. Wishes are nice, but don’t get you places like plans do.

99. When do you feel your life energy the strongest?
When I’m horseback riding. I truly feel alive and happy then.

100. You are spending the night alone in the woods and may bring only 3 items with you. What do you bring?
A tent, my iPod Touch, and a first aid kit.
