The second part of my day at Bristol Ren Faire on Saturday...not sure if I want to get into how I've been feeling as of late...maybe another time... And again, the photos are VERY large, so be careful.
The ring competition...
...it seems Sir Maximilian won, but our referee has noticed he has MORE than the 5 rings each contestant had to lance! Someone is a big fat cheater! And his squire doesn't want to be near his master in a bad mood!
If you want to know how the match turned out, Max came in 2nd. Cheaters don't prosper, I guess. :)
This is 'Barely Balanced', a trio of acrobats/jugglers. And they make a lot of jokes about awkward positions they're in.
So, this awkward enough for ya? :)
They got a surprise with two young girls dressed as the female member of the group! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :)
Despite what it looks like, there weren't any ritualistic Pagan sacrifices...
One of our organizers, Mary, in front of what looks to be Murtagh's dragon Thorn...
Queen Elizabeth I in her royal procession through town.
Something tells me he's a long way from Pallet Town. (I know someone who had gone earlier this year in an X-Wing pilot uniform, so in some cases, others just cosplay for the hell of it.)
This guy, however, looks right in place. I have never played "Assassin's Creed", but I know it takes place around this time period. Very cool. :)
