After all that waiting, I'm pretty disappointed Simplicity passed up a chance to make knock-off patterns of the OUAT costumes for Halloween this year. :( However, even if I have no interest in making them, their "Hobbit" inspired costumes are nice-

I'm a little surprised, you'd THINK the show was that popular and they would know there's a lot of people out there who do cosplay from it... I am from the type of sewer who has to alter existing patterns because I have no idea how to make my own and NOT have them look terrible or fit...which is perhaps why I was hoping for the angular attire our baddies wear or the floaty Gaga-like fairy dresses to show up in one of the big three's offerings...
Still, doesn't deter me from trying to start this next week-
