Okay, even though I've had a string of bad days (Which are just due to frustration and fighting, which is not what I need), I get a linkedin request from a film critic that shall remain nameless, but all I will say about her is that she is perhaps the definition of 'frigid bitch'.
Naturally, I didn't answer back. But seriously? That's like a mongoose wanting to hang out with a snake. Not a good idea. Because I am not keen on film critics, period. I agree sometimes, but a woman who will slam one of my favorite films is persona non grata with me.
Okay, that's all out. So today I did see a film that had been getting good reviews, and that's "Arthur Christmas". Which is preceded by Justin Bieber's "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" video, which is yet another nail in the coffin which is containing the steampunk trend. (Seriously, it's one of those things that's cool, but getting overdone. Way too overdone.) Thankfully, the movie is pretty good, except being someone of Eastern European descent, I will point out that in Germany, children do NOT put out their shoes like stockings on Christmas Eve. In fact, that is WAY earlier in the month on Dec. 6th, which is the feast day of St. Nicholas. It's on Dec. 5th when they put their shoes out for candy and small toys. Yeah, nitpicking over.
So here's to hoping this month will finally be the end of this crappy mood...
