boohoo: i'm sick
after two weeks of this sore throat bullshit, i was up at 3am reading my kaiser heathwise handbook. based on my symptoms, i thought i either had strep or mono. mom talked me in to calling kaiser this morning, so i made an 830am appt. at 900 went for some lab work.
bottom line: tests show ladi has mono for the first time, eva.
which is to say, ladi is staying in bed on monday... in her new fabulous apt. i cannot do strenuous activities (um, like lifting boxes and furniture?) or my enlarged spleen will burst.
i hate to be sick!
luckily i was able to find the number so that i could call in for a sub. going to bed after i take more tylenol, then waking up super early to write/email instructions and lesson plans for the sub.

p.s. will you invite yourself over, already? i promise i won't breath on you. i would even be wiling to put on a mask to enjoy the pleasure of your company.
