I've always loved celebrating the Fourth of July, but this year nobody bought any fireworks because we were all too busy prepping for my sister's wedding this Friday. Boo. I was imagining this as our last holiday as a four-person family unit, as tomorrow morning we leave for Seattle, but instead, everybody's running around packing. I am pretty sure this is not what our forefathers had in mind. :(
Oh well, I'm going to go back to what I do best the night before a trip: read instead of pack! \oV (that one is a frantically waving emoticon, I guess.)
