...is it wrong that I now want fic wherein Selena Gomez is an awesome, James Bond-esque spy, going around being kickass and gorgeous and winning at life?  Because I kind of really, really do. *g*

Also, why so pretty, Selena?  It's really not fair at all.

For the record, I was fairly meh at the idea of a new Selena single, and then I listened to the song and I LOVE IT A WHOLE LOT.

My first thought was maybe it had coffee grounds in it, but I changed my mind after watching the video.

Weird example, but in Gone in 60 Seconds, Nicholas Cage says "the ladies are dirty," referring to the cars. They were being tailed by the cops. Not sure how that relates to coffee, but maybe it was about her coffee date with that dude? Like, he was pretending to be on her side, but he was really a bad guy?

Not sure I've quite got the concept of this video, but. *shrug*

I'm not entirely sure I get the whole concept of the video, either, but that's a really interesting idea. My first thought was that it was poisoned or something, haha. But yeah, I guess it probably means he's warning her about being tailed, or something? Although I don't see why he needed to reference the coffee, but whatever. XD *is kind of a maniac for trying to figure out the plot points of a Selena Gomez music video*

Yeah, I think I read an interview once where she--basically said she wanted to be an actress, not a singer or an actress/singer or whatever? But Disney pretty much demands that its actors be singers, too, these days, so, you know, as long as she has the record label, she might as well? Haha, I don't know. But I don't think it's that bad either, so *shrug*

XD Well, yes, I am pretty slash-happy with that show though probably not as many as most people in the fandom; I basically have only one ship that I'm super invested in? and shhh, but I really don't care about the RPS at all, beyond just laughing along with it a little but the het couples are cool too. :D I love Logan/Camille, but I'm not so hot on Jo, just because her character seems to be so...inconsistently written? Like the writers just decided, hey, here's this all-American girl, and we can have her be whatever we want for the week--strong, independent girl, girl with a crush, jealous!girlfriend, whatever--and it just seems off to me, somehow. *

There should totally be fic. Crack!Real-people-meet-characters-fic. Because I don't know if you know this but there are these two kick ass female characters, who also happen to be kick ass mafia leaders and they should really meet Spy!Selena. Because Selena would be the best fucking top agent the CIA has, and maybe there's this mafia growing strong in the US, maybe they have epic connections in Brooklyn, maybe they have their sights set on Europe and they really need to be stopped. And maybe Selena is the only defense the CIA has against these kick ass mafia leaders.

Oh my godddddd, I love/need this SO MUCH. You know what else this vid reminds me of, though? Bela. And now I'm imagining Selena going on all these awesome adventures and defeating ghosts and demons and stuff and oh my goodness, so much awesome. I need, like, three different versions of spy!Selena fic: RPS-version, mafia leaders version (maybe that could be Alex or something, idek, or more likely she'd be in the mafia but whatever), and SPN!Selena. I don't even know. I JUST NEED MOAR SELENA IN TRENCHCOATS IN MY LIFE, OKAY???
