So I totally forgot I was supposed to do this meme! Which I will now proceed to do! I think I'm overusing the exclamation point!
This is that meme where you yell ICONS! at me and I choose six of your icons for you to ramble about in complete and utter love. You all know the one. I was going to go around yelling ICONS at dozens of people, but sadly this strange thing called "homework" kept me from only freaking out in capslock with actual justification for once at one person. *bitchface*

THE NEWSBOYS OF EL JAY! XD Um, so this is my I Am the Mush of the Newsboys of El Jay icon. Because Tay and Katybeth are insane and awesome and a whole bunch of other things. *g* And one day they decided that we all needed newsboy personas, and assigned one to each of us, and I am apparently Mush which is funny, because I'm such a bitch IRL XD, which works for me, because I love Mush, but anyway. I love this icon a) because of the story behind it and all that and b) because awww, Mush! He wants new shoes with matching laces! He's got a smile as sweet as buttah! HE'S SO ADORABLE! ♥
*g* So this is another Newsies icon with a Story behind it, and honestly it's kind of a complicated and epic story, so I'm not sure how much I can really get across here. Basically it all started when I showed Katybeth my then-unfinished Spot story, after which, for some reason that I do not know exactly but really isn't that hard to guess at, because, c'mon, Spot, we started always, always referring to him as SPOTFUCKINGCONLON. All in caps, like that. And then Race had to always be referred to as SPOTFUCKINGCONLON's secret boyfriend Race(track), so together they were either SPOTFUCKINGCONLON and his secret boyfriend Race or SPOTFUCKINGCONLON and SPOTFUCKINGCONLON's secret boyfriend Racetrack. You get the idea. And then SPOTFUCKINGCONLONOLOGY was born--there will be a book and a thesis and possibly an undergrad major, don't worry. For now, though? There's a fic I wrote and an icon Katybeth made because she is awesome. *loves*
Ollian! Christain and Olli. Aw. ♥ Y'know, I haven't kept up with VL in months, and I feel bad, but just--aww. They remind me of Blink and Mush, y'know? All adorable and sweet and cuddly. *hearts forever* Actually, Katybeth--who keeps popping up in these stories, hmm, maybe because these icons were chosen by her? XD, got me into Verbotene Liebe originally, without even realizing it, I think. I was just looking at her icons one day or something, or perhaps she mentioned them in her journal, and I thought maybe I'd check out this random German soap opera with hot adorable gay guys, and look what happened? They were hot adorable hot and adorable! And I love that boxing-ring kiss so, so much. Snow Patrol's Open Your Eyes will forever remind me of these two, and really? It was just so the perfect song for that moment. *does some more loving*
Hee! Oh, Cas. I know that maybe not everyone on my flist feels this way, but I love Cas. Not in the he's-Dean's-soulmate way, but in the he's-the-awesome-adorable-kickass-socially-inept-out-of-this-world-awesome-new-addition-to-Show-so-funny-so-pretty-so-character-develop-y-so-wonderful-angel way! Goodness, that description kind of got out of my control. XD Anyway, I loved this line in 5.02, because, oh, Cas, you and your not-understanding-of-human ways. Hee!
Casey! \o/ Gosh, you guys, I haven't talked about LWD in so long. I miss it. :( It's the fandom that first got me into LJ! Anyway, I got this icon because I was icon-shopping (\o/ ICON SPACE!) and I figured I should get some fandom-y expressive icons, as opposed to just fandom generic icons, i.e. "here's my generic LWD icon expressing my overall love for show/ship"! You know. Anyway, so this is kind of my shocked/disgusted/appalled/bitchface icon while also being a testament to Casey's awesomeness. Because I love Casey, guys. Even if I never finished watching season four, becuase i just couldn't stand to see my Casey and Der-Der's characters ruined like that. Oh, Show, and your incessant insisting that Derek/Casey is not OTP. YOU'RE WRONG.
Evans twins! Dancing! In their first, cute, not-too-flashy HSM performance ever! YAYY!! I love HSM. I do. But honestly, at least 50% of my HSM-related love is directed into loving Ryan and Sharpay. Because Ryan and Sharpay are awesome. They're evil, but not, and so pretty, and confident, and show-bizz-y, and really, is there any way to explain them? *g* So not only is this icon good for general silliness/happiness/playfulness, it is also good for expressing my HSM love and paying homage to the awesome that is Sharpay And Ryan, forever and ever. And yeah, if you actually thought I might have deep/insightful/whatever things to say about my icons and the characters in them, besides describing them with a bunch of inane adjectives separated only by slashes, and then repetitively declaring my love for them? WELL THEN YOU WERE DEAD WRONG, HUH. :D
