greenbelt mass

The other day, I attended the 5:45 pm mass in GB3 to pray for my sister, who'll undergo a surgery probably today sumwer in Dallas [after giving birth a tumor was found in her liver. I think. I'm not yet sure of the whole story, as I only get bits of info from my mom] I also prayed for 2 moms --my other sister's mother-in-law who just underwent a 12++ hr surgery in Heart Center, and my dear friend's mom who has a tumor in her pituitary gland.

I've got so many reasons why I need to pray even more. at first those thoughts made me cry [especially when I heard the news abt my sister], but then God's good, He instantly told me that there's nothing to worry about. He's in full control and He knows what He's doing. then I realized that worrying or crying won't help. All I can do, in moments like this, is to pray. yes, prayers move mountains!

please include them in your prayers...

I noticed that a lot of ppl attended the mass, most of them are still in business attire. and the chapel's filled up, like it's a sunday. it made me say, "marami pa pala ang ganito ngayon", thinking that most catholics nowadays go to mass just because they have to do so every sunday. I apologize for underrating the catholic yuppies. sampal pa nga ata sakin yun... I don't remember the last time I attended a weekday mass. It's so nice to know they spend time with the Lord during weekdays as well. the atmosphere enticed me, so perhaps from now on I'll attend friday masses. it's a good way to end a week-long office work :)
