.) Name: Brenna
.) Age: 22
.) Location: Richmond, VA
.) Describe yourself in five words: emotional, intellectual, open-minded, soft-hearted, shy
.) What is your favorite color and why? Oh, gosh, it's hard to pick one. But, right now, I'd have to say harvest gold. It's a warm, happy color and reminds me of honey and bees, symbols on industry and sweetness
.) Are you fluent in any other languages? I forgotten a lot of my languages, but I used to speak Spanish and English at home, I took French when I was little and German later. I still speak a bit of each.
.) Tell us a little about your heritage: My mother's side is Puerto Rican, Danish, Creole, Cherokee and African American (West African?). My father's side is Scottish, Irish and, I think, German.
.) Favorite book(s)? Marie Antoinette: The Great Journey, by Antonia Fraser.
.) Favorite movie(s)? Currently, Coraline
.) Favorite quote? "Women are like teabags; you never know how strong they are until they're in hot water"- Eleanor Roosevelt
.) Who is your favorite historical figure, and why? Ooh, that's tough. I'd have to say Florence Nightingale, for her compassion and courage.
.) Do you have any special talents? Sewing, baking, singing
.) What is your religious persuasion, if any? Unitarian Universalist, with Catholic leanings
.) When you imagine yourself ten or fifteen years down the road, do you see yourself being married? With kids? Dating around? Single? Well, I'm happily married, now, but I think I'll have kids by then and, hopefully, living in a good home of my own.
.) Which is more important to you? Love, god, or freedom? Freedom. Love isn't always a sure thing and I would never presume to know God's mind.
.) Do you have a flair for fashion? In my own way. I've been laughed at for my tastes in color and shapes and do sometimes look a little frumpy when I'm not trying, but I can pull an outfit off if left to my own devices.
.) Is there anything else we should know about you? I would rather compromise than fight. But, I won't compromise on matters of justice and fairness.
.) Please post at least one clear picture of yourself: http://www.flickr.com/photos/20899973@N05/3662115391/ (since flickr is stubborn)
