Read and Read and Read and Read and Read.....

So, I think I have officially learned my lesson.

Don't EVER get up in the morning and repeatedly wish for more hours in the day.

You would think I would know that by now, but sadly after about 14 years of schooling, some things just don't stick as well as you think they would.

That, and people glare at you because in college, suddenly it's taboo to wish for more hours in the day.  Or maybe it always was and I'm just now figuring this out.  I knew I was slow on the uptake, but this is just getting silly.

But back to what I was saying:

Like it or not, the more often we wish for more time, the less likely the universe is to give it to us.  Particularly when you have massive amounts of reading to do or multiple papers to write, both of which I currently have to do.  Between trying to read three books (one of which I don't even care about because the professor is a fucking idiot) and writing the papers, I'm lucky I get time to waste posting random nonsense on livejournal.  I never thought I would hate reading this much.

And just so you know: if anyone ever tells you (or neglects to tell you) that college is a fuckton of reading books, most of which you aren't particularly interested in, then it is my heartfelt desire for you to go and kick them in the head.  Anyone who didn't have to do reading in college was probably a PE major.  Or maybe the abhorous amounts of reading is only dictated to those with mildly pointless majors such as myself.  :P

Reading coming out of my ears, papers stacking up in front of me and only X number of hours to do it?

Yeah, I am SO in college...

papers, reading, college, majors
