How Did THAT Happen?
God knows how I wil figure out the next few weeks - I think I agree with katenator when she says the next few weeks will be chaotic.
- Decided to apply to grad school to pursue a Master's in Library and Information Sciences. I need to ask for letter of recommendation in the next week and work on essays and resumes, since the first application is due on the 1st of March (oi yoy yoy). Speaking of which, I am looking for work in the areas of librarianship and perhaps secretarial - just because I want some work experience - so if anyone knows someone that knows someone, could you please send some contact information my way? It doesn't have to be regarding a job, necessarily - people with relevant advice are good contacts too.
- First paper for my Media and Culture class is due this next Friday. The topic is advertising campaigns. Whee...
- Thesis is due on the 20th of February. It's done and finished, but I have been neglecting my revisions for the last few weeks. It's not that I don't plan to get to them, I just prefer to do things in chunks, I suppose.
That said, I really need to find some sort of motivation to do my work. I have gotten kind of lazy because I am not taking as many credits this semester, and that's starting to bother me. I NEED NEED NEED NEED for senioritis to not step in for another month or so...at least until I am done with grad school apps, because if those don't get done, I will be very upset with myself. :P
Sidenotes:
- "Hercules: The Legendary Journies" is quite silly. I have forgotten how much I love the '90s.
- "Tropic Thunder" was pretty funny, just as I had been told. Glad to have seen it on DVD though - don't think it would have been worth the $8 to go see it.
- Started "Wolf's Rain" and was unsuccessful in trying to plow through the first half of it. We'll see how much more I get watched before I conk out for the night.
- Re-vamped the icon selection because I went on a rampage of icon stealing again. I should really get a paid account, but I can't justify it...especially since I think my mother would want to know why...
I can't believe it's 12:30...sheesh. Where did the time go?
