If it makes you feel any better, it's a fairly well known fact that around the mid to late teens nearly every girl in existance has a falling out with her mother. I'm not sure why, but I've yet to meet a female who didn't fight with their mother constantly in the teen years. most of them don't have the easy-out that alaina did ofcourse so they stay and fight rather than skitter off.

I'm sure once she's older she'll regret the grief she caused you. =/ I know that's not really the most helpful advice to you right now and all but "it is what it is" I guess <,
