I still cannot fathom the reasons why Europeans are still so guilty over their complexion. Maybe its because they've had the racist attitude for the past 200+ years that their lightness was an inherent affirmation of their will to dominate. Yeah, one often forgets that little fact - the very reason I'm in this country, going to this university, and typing in this language all goes back to unfathomable cruelties all in the name of domination.
Hmm, full circle, and fun to watch. I am not going to criticize this film on a lark after reading the article, I believe it has some valid points to make. For people who pick and choose what they want to beleive about Jesus, I have come to the conclusion that if for the most part they see his over-whelming good, then that is good. Because that is pretty much one of the most basic, yet important ways of ministry. However, I dont want the Lord to become the tacky ideological equivalent of Che Guevera. Whoops, too late, but you can still have fun with it.
