I am at Garland yet again not really typing a paper, fun fun.

There is a brown recluse sitting right next to me, and no, I am not talking about Vanderbilt's resident angry expatriate Kurd, Taha Jan; I'm talking about the highly venomous spider. I just pok'd it with my pen and it retreated back in it's hole

the top half yeah, but i have yet to see the abdomen, it stuck its legs out again and i took a swipe with my pen again. That tricky tricky guy...

So, when you say it's sitting right next to you, where are you exactly? Is this in your room? Cause if it is, I would not be sleeping in there for a while if I were you.

well this happened yesterday so i am still alive to tell about it

but yeah, i was at the computer lab sitting on the availabe console right next to the window, and with the computer lab being on the ground floor and having trees and all sorts of greenery and shrubbery and arbor-day madness next to it, its a pretty good bet that spiders routinely found their way inside. the spider was on the wall not but a foot from me but hiding under the window ledge.

anywho, im glad i dont have this problem where I live @ towers. Im on the 4th floor so thankfully thats apparantly too high for spiders to bother with. But on the converse, it seems its not to high for the cockroaches
