(no subject)
Ok, So I'm studying abroad in Florence Italy and so far, it has been nothing but a long long long vacation. I don't just live for weekends as I did at Stonehill, but I live for Tuesday nights at Red Garter, where the beirut tourney starts at 11 PM; the Wednesday and Thursday nights at the club Faces, where, for 10 Euro, there is an open bar from 9 to 12 pm. WHAT? yes.
Not only are Tuesday- Thursday night festivies enticing, I don't have class until 6 pm on Monday night, which means that drinking on Sunday is as certain as my breathing is automatic.
So, what's the problem? I'm not trying to complain or anything, but school and classes up till this point have not seemed schoolish at all! I've been attending, note-taking, and even participating!! But today in art class, as I scanned the syllabi I'd brought with me (I'm trying to coordinate the 'workload' with my weekend trips), I noticed horrifying words like mid-term, paper, and field-trip. What's more, I noticed the words MANDATORY MAKE-UP DAY with many many Friday's listed following. Aghhhh.
Basically, what I'm saying is that I have recently discovered that I am still attending college.
Dammit.
