So, today is the big day for my sister. Well, not the Big Big day but the day that she's signing the papers for her house. This means that after class today I'm gonna head home and then up to Springfield area with a carload of her stuff. I mean, she's helped me move every 6 months for the past 5 years so I feel like I should help her. Also, I figure that now that she has a house we can spend more quality time together.
Since my last post things are going a lot better. Yeah, I'm stressed, I mean, I'm relearning a bunch of stuff for work. I more or less changed fields and I have so much to learn. I was in the lab for the first two times these past weeks. Apparently, I'm the only graduate student in my area that is going to be doing experimental work (because that's what I love), the rest of the guys, yes all guys, and all Korean for some reason, they do signal processing work all on the computer. So, what do I do now? I can't say. That's what stinks. I can tell you it's imaging. I can tell you it's 3D imaging, but I can't say much else because we work with state of the art stuff and we don't want that information leaking over the airwaves, or internetwaves. But for the first time in 3.5 years, I actually have a smile on my face at work, even if I am tired as anything. But I like it. It's fun, it's exciting. I could write so much more but I know that the longer this is, the less likely everyone is to read it. hahah.
