(no subject)
One) 48 hours until my first PhD qualifier. I'm fucking nervous. One of the determinants of the fate of this degree I've been working towards for the past 3 years. And for what? Only so everyone will call me doctor and I can be a doctor of electrical circuits and lasers.
Two) 6Flags was real fun other than the fact that Superman is still closed down due to someone standing up in the middle of the ride and being impaled on a fence hundreds of meters away. Yes meters.
Three) Linda's birthday party was real fun and I met some real nice people. I met someone that I thought for the past 3 years was a jerk because of an encounter online once. He may have proven me wrong. What I do know is that I'd much rather meet someone in person. It's much more sincere or something like that.
Four) Lying and keeping secrets are basically the same thing. I'm sick of putting up with the same shit over and over again and as some of you have probably noticed I'm caring more about me and less about you (haha not all of you ... I never thought I'd say something that seemed so selfish but hey I gotta take care of me once in a while).
Five) Contrary to popular belief, you do not have engage in the oh-so-popular activity of 'making-out' when frequenting the drive-in movie theater. I want to go to the drive-in. I want to know who wants to go with me. I will decide who does the making out. Haha, I know I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this one. Ok, no making out, just drive in movie theater. I'm serious. Mansfield...Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night. Let me know.
