The Alamo
I forgot to mention...I watched The Alamo this past Wednesday.
I'm finding that I am terrible at history, cause I don't know really anything about The Alamo aside of it being really important to Texas. This movie makes me want to go learn about it. I think moreso to find out what was real, and what was written for the script. Billy Bob Thornton was great playing David Crockett (who, honestly, I know nothing of outside of the song). This was a big change from Bad Santa, haha...
Anyway, the plot kept me involved the whole time. Character development was adequate and it was filmed well. It would be worth watching again, and I'll definately be buying it on DVD when it comes out. I don't think this one is headed for any Oscars or anything, but who knows... I recommend watching it if the topic even remotely interests you...
