2nd Week of School and the Weekend....
Second week of school went well, homework everyday, and is usually fairly long, but I guess it's not too bad. I have my first test on Tuesday in Algebra 2, it's over stuff that everyone went over in Algebra 1, it's been two years but I still remember what's going on, hopefully shouldn't be too bad.
Band rehearsals have been going great, we've been doing some cleaning up on some sets, and it's really starting to look nice, but now we're at the time of the year where the show in general looks good (of course it can be better) but now it's getting down to individual mistakes, and individual mistakes can still hurt us alot, so lets keep having great rehearsals, and keep having the number of individual mistakes go down. Trumpet Sectionals Tuesday after school.
Friday evening was a blast. Katie, Kelli, Greg, Jacob, Gibbs, Elyse, Jack, Aaron Hope and his girlfriend, Justin and I, (maybe a few other people but if I forgot your name I'm sorry it's early in the morning and I'm a little tired) went and played some Put-Put, alot of fun; Katie made a hole in one with her leg that was the coolest, after that went over to the batting cages, and watched Jacob, Greg, Jack, and Justin bat. After that went to IHOP and got some food, after that headed home, everyone was pretty tired after that.
Yesterday Katie and I went out to the barn, it was tons of fun. We went out there at around 10:00, it was already pretty hot though. It was the first time I saw Katie ride Penny, it was soooo cool, but I was an idiot and forgot my camera, but there will definately be pictures to come don't worry. It's amazing how smart Penny is, Katie was riding her and all Katie had to say was a few words and Penny did exactly what she said, very intelligent and beautiful animal.
After that we went back to my house, got washed up after sweating our brains out, and then we went and saw Red Eye, pretty good movie, a real edge of your seater, there was just some stuff that they didn't really explain during the movie, so that was a little confusing, but overall a great movie.
In a few hours I'm gonna head to church, then come back, mow my neighbors lawn, and then chill with Katie until she has to go back to her Mom's house.
