kenya has become the music building dog, it's quite cute.
i've been talking to my brother a lot lately, and i think after i finish my undergrad at ups, i want to apply to med school...this will be after lana and i take a year off and backpack all over europe.
apparently the number one degree to get you in to med school is one in music, by %67 (next in line is biochem).
this is all relatively hypothetical at this stage, but just thinking about it has made me happier, who knows what following through will do. i want to be around people who care about more than the difference between 14th and 16th century madrigals, or a prokofiev sonata they just recieved in the mail and are now going to spend the next five hours in the music building practicing (no joke).
i'm singing rachmaninoff's vocalise with the symphony on the 27th. his late romantic style produced such a beautiful piece, i'm really looking forward to singing it.
