(no subject)
Well instead of doing the maternity leave in Pre-K, I'll be doing it in Toddler's. The teacher that I'm teaching for is going to switch to the Toddler's class whenever she gets back... so that means that I'll be starting in that room full time on Monday.
It's 7:30-4:30... so not too bad. It works better with my classes in late June-early August... and there's 8 kids to deal with instead of 20. So that's excited. But I am sad that I don't get to teach about space and dinosaurs and pirates. It would have been nice to actually teach again.
But I love most of the kids in the toddler class (plus the really shitty one will be moving up to Trainers in June or July) and I'll be getting some of my babies from the infant class (squee!!!)... so it'll be good.
I'm almost all done with my second semester of grad school. I have a presentation to do in class tomorrow and a law case study to get done before Friday... then it's only seven more classes until graduation....
Pub crawl is tonight. I'm excited even though I feel super lame going on it as an alumni. But it's for a good cause, and I'll get to see homies...
