weekend recap
this weekend was just as good as last weekend (spent most of it w/ my LOVE, hayley! we had fun spendin money at the mall 'n shiz)
yup
went to dinner w/ danielle to celebrate her upcoming 19th bday which was yesterday! finally ... hayley it's YOUR TURN! some of her friends came along too, including Charlie. 21, Army, leaving for El Paso, TX on the 5th of Aug, likes me .... eek! dont wanna burst his bubble, but sorry charlie! (wow, first time that it's actually been a guy named charlie ... haha). danielle didn't tell me till a night later, but yeah ...
saturday went to gma's in the Villages. LOVED IT! we looked at pics from my trip to Prauge which was so awesome. told her all the stories and everything. then she showed me all her pics from ages ago when she went to europe and the Holy Lands and stuff like that. amazing stories she's got too. then her neighbor, Carolyn, came over and we all had dinner together which was nice. Carolyn enlightened us with her euro stories as well and had a barrell full of laughs. it's fun to learn stuff from old people like that. after dinner we headed off to the movies to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. it was weeeeeeeiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrd. that is all to say about that movie. we came back to the house around 9ish and gma and i just read our books in her room till i went to bed around 10 cause i was beat!
sunday woke up at 10 ... love those 12 hours of peace and quiet sleep!! woot! and we went to brunch. yum yum! we rode the golf cart all the way there! if you know about The Villages then you know that they old people go EVERYWHERE on their little golf cart thingys! they've made special paths and stuff for them and little tunnels that go under the ultrabusy roadways through the subdivisions! it's awesome. so yeah, after brunch we went to walked around Lake Sumpter Square. that was cool. saw a funny quote in one of the random shops there: "if it has tires or testicles, you know there's going to be trouble" hahahhaha i wish i would have bought that for hayley, danielle, and steph. ya'll would totally love that! it was a door hanger/tile thingy. but yea - 10 bucks a pop. so i decided i could just make something like that it's cost me like 3 bucks at walmart for all the supplies for each one. sorry girls you lucked out this time! lol. but dont worry, danielle and hayley, i know i owe you both for your bdays! i haven't forgotton!!!!
after shopping a bit we rode the carts back to gma's house. while we were riding along i asked her about the oh-so-wonderful topic of the male race. she had some really good advice that i really really really need to apply to my life so that i dont get my hopes up for things. no more chasing for caroline, hopefully. she assured me that there's no accomplishments in chasing a guy and that i'll never get anything out of him if i go after him. so no trips up to the big NJ for me. but, perhaps an invite to one of my fall ball games for him? i'm not sure yet. i dont think we're THAT good a friends. but i could always bring it up casually. just to see if there happens to be someone coming down that way ......
ANYWAYS!
we get back to the house and read for another while (i loved that. peace and quiet. no yelling. no kids. just enjoying gma's company and loving the 5th harry potter book while GiGi *gma's shih tzu* slept next to me) before i departed. took a different route back to orlando and spent quality time with my hayley. went to target. bought some unnecessary items, but oh well. when i've got the money it just burns a hole in my pocket! then went to jeremy's apartment to drop off his packing tape. that was cool. hadn't chilled with that kid in what seemed like forever. he's definitely kinda the same and kinda different. probably best he's moving back in with his parents. they need him right now.
drove back to the island around 940. got there at 1020. love that 30 minute drive hahahaha.
got online, talked to some people, got pulled into stupid ass drama shit from gboro people. yelled a little. cursed a lot. almost put my foot through someone's ass even though he's 500+ miles away .... arg! why can't guys realize that sometimes they just need to LET GO! it's been the freakin motto of the entire summer!
JUST LET IT GO!!!!!!!!
talked to steph at like 130am and vented my entire being onto her. totally over that bullshit that's going on and it's not even the beginning of the semester!!! i swear if he doesn't get his freakin act together and just let this stupid shit go then there WILL be a foot so far up his ass that he'll be able to smell my nasty feet!!!!!!!!!!!
okay ... so anyways
work has been good today so far at least. it's my last FULL week! thank the lord! this weekend holds adventures in itself as well, so i'm definitely looking forward to that excursion!
