Storms are over, mostly, things are wet and flooded, and damaged down at the street level. Subways are still down in most places, but it's not as bad as everybody thought it was going to be, thankfully.
Pretty much checked in with everybody I know that lives in the city, aside from Zander...who I haven't heard from yet, and everybody is okay aside from little things; lost lights, stuck at home, things like that.
And we're fine here at home, Hector slept through the biggest part of the storms...that man...I don't understand his calm sometimes...I was up and watching the weather channel most of the night and talking to people; long night, tired now.
No resounding damage around here, lights still on, life goes on.
The streets are still pretty empty though, which is so strange to see; but at least it's not as bad as it could have been.
Not that I'd like to experience that again though, once is good for a few years for me personally.
Really tired now, didn't sleep last night and most of today; going to try to sleep some now.
Gotta call Senri first, I think...these time zone things confuse me though, I don't want to wake him up.
I think it's afternoon there though right now?
Uhmn...I guess if you see this Senri; sorry I didn't call yet, I got caught up in things with all the chaos going on, I'll give you a call in the morning when I'm up and coherent again.
