Hotlinking.......
Because we have problems with people who use Fotolog hotlinking our files all the time, I'm making this post to let them know IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!

TO CHINO_GAYS....Thank you for taking down the links.... *edited out my wraithful rant directed towards said user about the hotlinked files, but I'll keep the photos because I'm glad I still remembered how to make pretty screen captures...*
also, while I am on this rant, people who use http://animexx.onlinewelten.com/ stop providing links in the ens as well...I keep getting reports that bandwidth is being used there.
This is a serious issue people. I'm just about ready to upload all files then to sendspace or Megaupload and discontinue direct linking from my host because of bandwidth stealing and hotlinking. I hate going around to forums, nagging at people and sending emails about direct/hotlinking. For the month of December, we have served 500 distint hosts, with an average data transfer of 66 gigabits. Thats alot of bandwidth, that WE PAY FOR. I think we are pretty nice uploading and providing links to our own host for easier downloading since I know file hosting sites out there give people problems. But seeing stuff like this EVERY SINGLE DAY in my statistics page is really starting to piss me off...
I know I've posted about this before, but I guess its time for another reminder, though common curtisy I thought, would have prevented this at all....
