Although I'm SURE it's incredibly boring for y'all to go a day without a post from me, break doesn't really yield all that much excitement that deserves writing around. Oh, well, I'm trying!

We went to the mall in Allentown yesterday . . . I [heart] WaldenBooks like whoa. "Buy 4, get the 5th free" sale + 25% off one item + the remains of my "buy 10 manga, get one free" card = LOVE. I got Prince of Tennis 4-6 and iD_entity 1-4. Plus, I finally read the back of Kiss Me, Kill Me, and now I want to read it o.O I'm not allowed to, though, because iD_entity is filling the void of Ayashi no Ceres, and now I have no more open spots for manga. You hear me?! NO MORE!!!!! (yeah, I know, famous last words)

That Suncoast wasn't going out of business, so no cheap anime for teh Kris. Sigh. Well, at least in the mall, but that's later in the story . . . So, I also spent A LOT MORE than planned on a new suit at Macy's, but it was totally worth it. I'm too fat for my old black suit, although that doesn't bother me all THAT much, since it was purchased around 10th grade. I'm not even joking--I remember wearing it in high school. Anyway, I got a new suit, and it's hott, but it wasn't on sale. Urk. I also got a nice new pair of business casual flats at Strawbridge's (ours is going out of business, so SALE!). After that, I decided I felt anime deprived, so we went to Best Buy. I got the Wedding Peach season one boxset and the three Gokusen DVDs, with a cosplay jacket. Notes from the trip: 1. Best Buy must steal the anime off the back of a truck, because their prices are insane. 2. 3 DVDs + cosplay jacket = $37?! WTF?! Anime Works, you're almost as cool as ADV right now! 3. Most of y'all would hate Wedding Peach, what with all the people who either hate mahou shoujo OR hate pre-2000 animation, but I'm incredibly excited. Sailor Moon may be THE definitive mahou shoujo series (and I love it to death), but Wedding Peach is a classic. I've waited so long!!! GLEE! 4. I really want to see Otogi Zoshi. Just thought I'd share.

Errrr, my shopping is really about it. The rest of my time has been spent watching ESPN or VH1 with my dad or trying to read Crim Law and falling asleep on my book. I went to the church counsel dinner tonight with my dad, which was fun, but meant everyone and their brother had to ask me about law school. I can only say, "Well, I love law, but law SCHOOL is tough" before I start getting depressed and want to quit and go to beauty school or something.

Okay . . . I'm going to try this Crim Law reading thing again, and if that doesn't work, I'll write some more WSC.

anime, shopping, family
