Wearing his spiffy new uniform and carrying his jacket over his shoulder, Marion promenaded the hallways with a huge grin on his face. He didn't know why, but he felt like those stares seemed kind of... off for an All Boy's School. Well, whatever. It didn't seem like they would be shoving his face on any toilets soon, so he felt safe ( Read more... )

It was one of those days again, when Gilbert had decided to ditch that idiotic Blough to the forest to have fun all by himself. It was only on those few times when Gilbert could actually feel the satisfaction, that he expected, with Blough. But mostly it all was just a play for him, and that swine couldn't see this. After all, ever since Rosemarine claimed that he would belong to Blough, the idiot's head had gotten much thicker and now he was misunderstanding his own value.
Oh, just how ridiculous Blough's face had been when Gilbert had fled from the woods, just when Blough had managed to got himself undressed, having his mocking laugh echoing within the wind. Very fitting for such ridiculous man as Blough.

Now he was walking on the halls, only half dressed and still having leafs and small scratches from the branches on him, of course. The crowd that these halls usually had, stepped aside as Gilbert passed them. But the other boys only moved aside so that they could form those small gossip-groups. Gilbert could hear them whispering about his shameless attitude and appearance as they pointed him with fingers. That didn't matter since he had gotten used to this a long time ago when he transfered to this school.

But this time as he was heading towards his room, he could not help but notice the new face wandering in those same halls as he. Another transfer student already? It seemed like this new boy had not yet heard about Gilbert's reputation in this school, for he didn't step aside from his way like everyone else did.

OMG GILBERT 8'D gobythebook November 27 2009, 01:08:36 UTC
Seeing the barely dressed boy didn't surprise Marion. It was the opposite, actually. Marion was intrigued, smiling -- barely managing not to smirk -- at his direction. He assumed that this was the infamous Gilbert Cocteau; the boy that people spoke ill of, yet were all guilty of falling for him at some point.

"Hello," Marion greeted, hearing the barely audible gossip around them. "You're not in proper uniform."

'SUP MARION! scentofyouth November 27 2009, 13:48:18 UTC
Oh, just like he thought this new boy was just another of those good little innocent kids who were uptight with all the rules. In his tidy uniform and with such confident and rude tone in his voice created rather arrogant atmosphere around him.
Gilbert decided to ignore it, he did not need another 'good boy' or rule-fanatic around him. He was already put up with one kid like that (who just couldn't mind his own business and stop interfering with Gilbert's life.).

To return the favor of rudeness, Gilbert just coldly walked past this new boy without even looking at him, almost as if he hadn't seen or heard him.

...being straight? WHAT'S UP WITH YOU. OTHER THAN SEX OF COURSE. gobythebook November 27 2009, 14:20:13 UTC
Oh, like he would allow someone that caught his interest pass that easily. Marion followed, picking up his pace in order to walk beside him.

"Rules, rules, rules..," he began, not caring if Gilbert decided to ignore him. "They're impossible, aren't they? Dress properly, comb, wake up before seven... it's as if they were made to prevent everything natural about us, as human beings. Authority itself is hypocritical and ridiculous, but do you know why these rules are made?

"To benefit everyone, and to show them that everyone's equal. Rules, etiquette, authority... all of these are made to set a boundary between us, the thinking species, and the other animals that depend on nothing but instinct. It tells us that we're smart, we don't have to resort to survival of the fittest, but... people like you, people like the principal... you're all standing on the line, mocking it."

Marion, then, reached out to grab Gilbert's wrist. "I, for one, refuse to allow you to continue doing that."

Just when Marion's hand was about to touch Gilbert's own, he slapped it immediately away as if it was reflex. "Don't you dare to touch me," he spoke with such venomously voice as he turned aroundand had his cold stare piercing Marion.

"You may be a good speaker, but I have no interested in hearing your blabbering or whatsoever. Especially such boring falsies as those words you spoke of!" His voice had changed from the cold to something that was bored and apathetic, yet strangely it was bit amused too.

He turned around, to continue walking away, but before that he looked over his shoulder at the Marion and said: "Oh, and never even think about giving me orders again. Otherwise you will be sure to regret it."

...What an intense stare. This widened Marion's smirk. Interesting. He wasn't afraid. He was intrigued. Normal people didn't respond like that, oh no. He wanted to learn more, just for the sake of being able to say he can understand someone like Gilbert.

"They're nothing but the truth," Marion responded. "And what if I do? Tuck in your shirt, put on your vest, comb your hair, and go to class."

BUT I GET ON HIGH FROM SEX. I DON'T NEED RULES.. then come out of closet. scentofyouth November 27 2009, 16:20:18 UTC
He turned around immediately as the Marion spoke. The look in his eyes there was that cold stare again, but this time mixed up with something that you could describe as hate and disgust-- a that kind of look what couldn't mean anything good. But he changed his expression to the amused one quickly, trying to cover the anger before. Gilbert run his hand in his hair and chuckled. "You have some nerve. Or then you are just a naive fool. Or..Perhaps both?"

"I have no reason to be afraid of some effeminate boy," Marion said confidently, scowling at Gilbert. What made him so confident? Was it power, or money? Was it his good looks? "Neither. I'm merely a boy that wants equality within the student body."

Gilbert just kept chuckling at him, while closing the space between them by walking closer. "Equality you say?", he let out rather childish giggle as he approached Marion wearing a cunning smile on his lips. "Just what part of these brings that equality what you just spoke of, Mr. Perfect Student?"

Now he was mocking him, Gilbert didn't even try to hide it as he spoke. This new boy had a nerve to insult him by giving orders and lecturing him about the rules. And yet he still dared to claim wanting nothing more than 'equality.'

Marion tapped his lip for a moment, pretending to be pensive. "Well, obviously I can't see it at the moment, with you running around half-naked.

"Rules... exist to bring harmony between people, but if I let people like you pass by, with your free spirits, then I wouldn't be a pretty good student, would I?"

"Rules are nothing more than a way for people to keep us in leash, tame us like a pets. And just like their pet dogs we are doing as our master orders us to, hoping that with out good behavior he will pet our heads!" They were very close now. Only few inches kept them from the contact. Gilbert took one step closer to Marion before stopping. The cunning smirk on his lips hadn't gone away anywhere, and his eyes were sharp as ever.

"There is no such thing as equality or pride in that."

"You're confusing rules with authority."

Marion took a step back. Gilbert was so close, too close. Marion gulped. His mind was panicking. He didn't allow people to come this close unless he allowed them to, so his confidence faltered a little.

"Rules are there to in force balance, authority is there to take the poor man's money."

Oh. Gilbert chuckled little bit when he saw other one's reaction to his closeness and responded by taking step forward--but now bringing their bodies only closer than they were before.

"Are you sure it's not you who is mistaken?" There was now seduction in his eyes as the smirk grew wider. Oh, Gilbert was quite amused by this new boy's reaction, even though it wasn't anything that he hadn't seen before but it was always quite entertaining to see when one's like Marion were losing their focus.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure." ...Marion didn't like the look in his eyes. Something in his gut wanted to tell Gilbert about the existence of personal space.

"M-much like rules, one needs to respect other people's personal space."

Gilbert pretended that he didn't hear what other one just had said and kept bringing his body slowly even closer than it was. "Those rules you adore so much are only keeping us chaining us to our cages. But even in those cages only the strongest ones will survive and so shaking the balance of equality, where you lay your faith so."

His hand reached to grab gently on Marion's chin as he lowered his voice to more quiet. "These rules are also taking one of our humanly need away."

...Because of that, Marion stepped back faster. "Rules encourage our intellectual capacity a-as a..," Marion paused, gulping, and trying not to lose to this... this feminine, half-naked boy.

"I'm sure it has good reason to."
