Every time Marion passed by that particular hallway, the very hallway where he encountered the infamous Gilbert Cocteau, he would inevitably recall the embarrassing encounter. The experience was still so vivid and clear in his mind that he would grit his teeth and clutch anything he had in hand every time he passed by.

Gilbert hasn't won yet, he ( Read more... )

The halls were empty due the classes, right now there was only few students around-- including Gilbert. But this was one of those few days when Gilbert had actually decided attend to class until he was well.. distracted. He had been on his way to class room wearing his uniform and having the right books for the lesson, but suddenly he was stopped by his lover from the last night.

Right now Gilbert was being pressed against the glass window as the another boy nudged his head up and wrapped his hand around Gilbert's throat tightly, almost suffocating him and forcing him to the kiss. His another hand was stripping Gilbert naked showing the fresh bruises and new scars on his pale skin that he had got on last night.

And like usually, Gilbert did not do anything to stop this rough treatment but accepted it, just like those other few students who did not interfere and just let it happen.

Marion paused mid-step when he noticed Gilbert up to one of his antics. He wanted to pass by, ignore the boy, and think about how much that might've hurt Gilbert... but his morals refused to stand for it. He couldn't help it; rules were rules, and he didn't want to be a hypocrite.

He entered the bathroom, picked up a pale of water, and splashed it onto the both of them. They were in heat, right? So perhaps they needed to cool down.

He pointed an accusatory finger at them. "The both of you. Stop this nonsense. School rules clearly state that tomfoolery such as that in the hallway is forbidden."

Getting splashed with water was something that neither of them could expect. After the moment that they needed for recovering from the surprise the older boy turned around, ready to reward Marion with the ass-beating from his rudeness. Gilbert grabbed on the boy's shoulder turning him back to face him, "Don't mind him."

He pulled the boy back to the short and chaste kiss, before pushing him away. "But you really should go, before your unneeded actions causes more trouble." His words were almost as cold and icy as the look on his eyes, "Or should we really wait for Rosemariné to pass by?" That seemed do the job as the older student took a step back looking at the both Marion and Gilbert.

"This is not over yet, you punk," he hissed down before running away, leaving the two boys alone.

Marion turned his head when they decided to kiss again, looking utterly disgusted. He had to admire how Gilbert used the superintendent as an excuse, though; despite being a filthy, promiscuous boy, he was pretty clever. He turned his gaze back to Gilbert, sending him an icy glare that could give Gilbert's own a run for its money.

Before speaking, he made sure to stand at a decent distance from Gilbert. "You're just shameless, aren't you? Tell me, why do you against social norms? What motivates you? ...Or are you just a whore without a reason?"

Gilbert rolled his eyes. Here we go again he thought and took his wet shirt off throwing it at Marion.

"Like you are one to talk about the proper behavior in the hallways, Marion Fiasse." He had learned the name from the numerous rumors and gossips that started after their first meeting in the hallway.

"What are you here for anyway? Do you want another taste of love?"

Marion grabbed the shirt, clumped it into a ball, and threw it back to Gilbert. "Shirts are to be worn."

"You're right. Who am I to talk? But then again, we're not exactly the same, you and I. Unlike you, I have pride." ...It may have been shattered and trampled on before, but he had it. "What a big ego you have. No, I do not. I was just simply passing by."

Gilbert just threw the shirt back to Marion giving him smile that only spoiled brats would have. "I can't go to classroom while wearing that and it's your fault."

"And You have some nerve to talk about 'pride' for someone who worships rules so much." He wiped the water drops on his forehead off and turned around to walk away.

"How cold, and here I thought I made you a favor by cooling you down while you're in heat." Again, he threw the shirt back at him. "Besides, if you walk around naked, I bet you'll have no trouble walking around with a wet shirt.

"There's nothing wrong with respecting the law."

This time Gilbert didn't catch shirt but let it to fall down on the floor. "You can keep it. It can be comforting for you during all those lonely nights that you have. I guess I don't mind it if you think of me in your dreams." He gave him a small kiss through the air and walked away.

Marion snorted. "Get over yourself." He walked towards the opposite direction, stepping on the shirt on the way.

It was far past the curfew when Gilbert returned to the B-dorm. The empty and dark halls were surrounded by the silence that only broke faint sound of Gilbert's footsteps.

In the end he hadn't gone to a single class. His 'mood' for it was ruined by the previous encounter with Marion on the morning, so he had ended up doing.. well that what you'd imagine him doing. Despite the cold weather he had spent almost whole day outdoors with the boy from before and was able to return to his room only now.

But the room 17 it wasn't so empty as Gilbert believed it to be.

Marion rested on the other bed, carefully organizing his drawer, when Gilbert came in. It wasn't Gibert that distracted him, really; it was just the presence. He was way too worked up in cleaning his side of the room. He shrugged and looked at the drawer again, organizing his books... alphabetically.

"Hm. Your drawer's a mess," and that was all he was going to say to him.

Gilbert just walked in and threw his jacket randomly on his drawer and kicked his shoes off before setting himself to lay on the bed where he watched Marion doings.

"You are quite far from your room. You should leave before you get in more trouble."

"Didn't you get the memo?" ...Who was he kidding, of course Gilbert didn't get the memo. He was Gilbert. "This'll be my room too, from now on."

Now that was some surprising news. Gilbert hadn't had a roommate since he transfered to laconblade, and it was proved by then that it was impossible for anyone to live with Gilbert. He was sure that Marion knew that too, so why he agreed to move in there?

"...Really now?"

Marion shrugged. "I suppose." Marion already knew about the rumor, but he was pretty sure he was different from those people, considering a large sum of students in Lacombrade were just rich idiots.
