raid the library for PBS Frontline documentaries. all. do yourself a favour.
i'm glad school has failed in ridding me of my compassion and empathy when dealing with world issues. the words "well, this horrible thing [insert whatever colonial superpower of whatever point in history] that has been done to [insert whatever state has been fucked over by any of aforementioned superpower] is justified when tackled by the realist point of view" will never come out of my mouth.
and it will not come out of yours in my presence more than once.
