Brigit's Flame "All Stars", Week 1

Checking my closet right now, I can see that despite my deliberate and pointed neglect, I still have two of the facecloths left that my mother and her husband gave to me on my 18th Christmas. I keep them because I hate the thought of wasting something useful -- so I wait until I can find a good excuse to throw them out ( Read more... )

I'm sorry I can't help you there -- I'm surprised that you kinda put up with your mother for so long! Most of my siblings (and me) have already stopped talking to my mother. =\

it took me a while to get to where I am right now =p I wish I could spread the happiness though! =p

You do! You make me happy to talk to you or just to see you talking to other people around. You spread happiness.
(and now I'm imagining you with a big jar of happiness like jam, spreading it all over lacombe. um. hope you like being covered in happiness-jam, J-man!)
(and that came out a little dirtier than I expected.)

I'm glad to hear that! =p
... for some reason, I read that as "I'm imagining you as a big jar of happiness jam" which gave me the mental image of a jam jar with a couple of eyes in it =p

I'M A LITTLE AFRAID OF THAT IMAGE.

o_o but I imagined a cartoon jar, not a real jar with real eyes! =p

Some things just shouldn't be looking at me! And that's a fact!

that reminds me of this little dog on my desk that I crocheted and never gave a face. the poor guy. (I'm thinking of dismantling him and reusing his stuffing; he was how I learned to crochet and therefore isn't terribly excellent. also, he's dark green.) Not that he shouldn't be looking at me, just that he isn't. Ever.

that's true, I wouldn't want to be looked at by weird eyes either =p

that poor dog! you could always add a face to him if you're short of time =p

I'm shorter on stuffing than time. also I'm making myself a tiny bear (top left corner only much more awesome; darker blue and some adjustments to the way the face looks) while I wait for the snow to go away enough that I can yarn-swap with my friend for the colors I need to make the next gift-thing I'm making. So dismantling the poor green dog it is! hahaha.

♥ Good to talk to you! I must run off now, though.
(And sorry for totally commandeering your entry (that I haven't even finished reading yet oops) to talk to someone else, J! Will return with proper comment when I actually finish reading.)

When Marion and I first started seeing you on the Flame a couple years ago, you made your way into our daily phone conversations. :-) We were always smiling at your comments and laughing at your jokes. We were really grateful to have the chance to get to know you, and to experience your special brand of humbleness and positivity. I think you spread it just fine. <3
